CAU ISLAND

Cau island is quite famous place because it was a former village in Gia Long King with the name “Xom Ba Thiet”. Hon Cau is one of two islands in Con Dao has under groundwater. In front of has white sand beach along the mountains, with coconut garden  and Phong Ba tree make windbreaker, attract visitors to the peaceful space. Cau island in the old day was also a hell where put prison famous revolutionists, such as Former Prime Minister Pham Van Dong in the period 1930-1931 .

To the Cau island, tourists can visit historic relics, visit the orchards, learn conservation, swimming to enjoy the moments, exciting experiences and unforgettable scenic and  environment healthy .

DESCRIPTION:

- A marine eco-tourism route by boat, which is organized and operated in the Park Visitor Center. The service includes bathing, swimming to see coral, explore mangrove forest, sightseeing, explore resources conservation activities, watching turtles lay eggs during the breeding season, see tank crab feeding in mangrove forest (at night) and release baby turtles into the sea, walking to the lighthouse, time 4-5 hours (book in advance).

- Requirements: bring appropriate luggage, life jackets, snorkeling gears renting in Central Park. It should need a guide of National Park or the local community for guidance.

- Time: 4-6 hours or overnight stays; Environmental capacity: up to 48 guests daytime/ 1 time, at night time: 20-25 guests. It is suitable for couples, honeymoon, camping and relax in groups, family travel.
